Our verdict
Is a Sungrow battery right for you?
A proven, hugely popular battery that pairs simply with Sungrow hybrids, backed by Australia's biggest support network. Its specs are good rather than class-leading: IP55 sealing, a 50°C limit and a throughput cap that heavy users may reach before 10 years.
Rated 8.3/10, #2 of 9 brands we rate for batteries.
A good fit if
- You have or are buying a Sungrow hybrid
- You value local support and a proven product
Maybe look elsewhere if
- The battery will sit in direct sun or a very hot spot
- You plan to cycle it very hard every day
